Group Workouts
SATURDAY
Stair Climbing Workouts
9:00 – 10:00 am
These workouts include core and stretching exercises as well as interval stair climbing. Participants are encouraged to climb at their own pace but will be urged to push themselves. Walkers as well as runners are welcome. Note: Each Saturday we’ll climb a different set of stairs visiting all parts of San Francisco.
4/20 Vulcan Stairs — Meet @ Ord Street just off 17th
4/27 Path & Castenada Street stairs — Meet @ Magellan & Path
5/4 Mosaic Staircase — Meet @ Moraga & 16th Avenue
5/11 Harry Street Stairs — Meet @ Harry and Laidley.
5/18 Onique Lane Stairway — Meet @ Diamond Heights Blvd & Berkeley Way
5/25 Blairwood Stairs — Meet on Clarendon in front of Clarendon Elementary
6/1 Fort Scott in The Presidio — Meet in the Fort Scott Parking lot
The price for 7, one-hour workouts is $50 paid in advance, the drop-in rate is $12 per workout (This is an introductory rate available to new clients only. The standard rate is $120 paid in advance, $23 drop-in)
TUESDAY/THURSDAY
Circuit Training Workout
6:00 – 7:00 pm
The Presidio (meet near on the Main Post grass near the big tree. Anza and Owens)
The price for 3 weeks (6 workouts), paid in advance is $105 and is non-transferable. Drop in rate is $23. Contact Kelley@motionstarved.com with questions and to register.
What is “Circuit Training/Soft Core Boot Camp?” — These workouts are tailored to those wishing to participate in an exercise program yet are not comfortable committing to a more intimidating “boot camp” style class or challenging training regiment.
During these workouts you can expect to run, jog or walk briskly take in the scenery and perform various body toning and agility exercises.

Guerrilla Adventure Workouts
We’re gonna “Run with the Bus” again! Stay tuned for the next bus!
What the heck is a “Guerrilla Adventure Workout?” — A Guerrilla Adventure Workout is a unique, unconventional workout experience. While the main objective of these workouts is to, work out and get your sweat on, we also focus on fun! Examples of GAW’s are: Run With The Bus, we actually raced a local city bus up and over a hill. We’ve competed in Scavenger Hunts with a fitness center in Seattle and when the weather gets nice, to celebrate Halloween we put on the Run Sweat & Fear 5K.
FRIDAY
Friday Fun Ride
6:00 – 7:30 pm, May 17th
Meet at Athleta on Fillmore no later than 6:00 pm, we roll at 6:05. Rain cancels.
Start your weekend off right with an early evening bike ride. We’ll spin around The Presidio, visit Ocean Beach or perhaps venture into The Headlands. These are Beginner – Intermediate level rides with no rider being left behind. Pace and route will be determined once we see who shows up. Please be sure that your bicycle is in proper working order, bring water, helmet and flat fix materials (even if you don’t know how to use it).
** These rides are FREE of charge.

Wednesday, July 17th – 6:00 – We’re racing the 22 Fillmore Muni Line up the hill!

Thursday, August 1st – 5/10k race + Happy Hour drinks, snacks and music at the finish!
Run for the Seals
Saturday, August 17th – 4 Mile race to support the Marine Mammal Center, Marin Headlands.
One-on-One Coaching
Interested in a lot of personal attention? One-on-One sessions are tailored to your personal goals, needs, interests, schedule and location. One-on-One coaching is a good choice for those with event goals or people who are looking for day-to-day interaction with a trainer.
To start, you and I will meet and come up with a plan based on you and only you. My fee is competitive yet fluid as is based on the details of your personal needs and location as we will workout at a venue convenient for you.
Buddy Workouts
Buddy workouts are designed for people who are too busy to plan a regular day and time to workout each week. A Buddy Workout is essentially a “class” format but the only people in the class are you and a buddy or two. The time and day of the workout can be flexible depending the schedule of you/your buddy. The rate for you & your buddy is $100 per session or 10 sessions for $900 paid in advance. No matter which workout you choose, know this…
